Wine tasting

• Wine with a dark ruby red color.
• Complex nose with spices and cooked red berry aromas.
• On the palette, the surprise is in its gracious structure, freshness and silky tanins. It's an harmonious and has a long lasting finish.
• Can be kept from 5 to 8 years.
• Can be served with poultry.

Grape varieties

This wine is made from Grenache and Syrah grapes. The Grenache adds smoothness, body, power and structure ok the wine.The Syrah is for the color, aromas, tanins, crispness and helps the aging process.
These hillside vines produce small quantities which allows for good healthy conditions and optimal maturity.
Average age of the vines: 25 years.

Geographical location

Southern and eastern slopes at 250m alt.

Soil

Loess over lime and sandstone.

Wine making

• Manual harvesting and sorting.
• The grapes are de-stemmed and then crushed.
• Maintained in 8 days in vats between 18 and 28°C.

Aging

• Aged in vats for an average of 12 months.
• Bottled and stored in the cellar at a controlled temperature until being delivered.
